Superlift's 2007-Current Chevy/GMC 1500 8-Inch Lift System Fits 37-Inch Tires

West Monroe, LA: Superlift allows current-model Chevy/GMC 1/2-ton 4x4 and 2WD pickup owners to get way up with a new 8" lift system. This kit cleanly makes clearance for 35"-tall tires. Minor wheelwell trimming clears 37s. The system is even compatible with GM's StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

Like other Superlift systems created this millennium, the new Chevy/GMC 8" lift was engineered using advanced CAD software. Because Superlift does much of the manufacturing in-house, this same software sends specs to CNC and other machines to ensure exacting fit. Driveability and durability are prioritized with proper coil spring rates and shock dampening, suspension travel control, steering geometry and CV-axle operating angles.

The front's foundation is high-clearance, one-piece lower control-arm crossmembers, laser-cut from .25"-thick plate steel. All other load-bearing bracketry is .25"-thick. Replacement cast ductile iron knuckles increase lift with a minimal gain in track width. In 4x4 applications, no differential trimming is required, and the factory front driveshaft is retained. Proper CV angle is retained by using CNC-machined spacers with the OE axleshafts. A differential skidplate ties together the crossmembers and is further reinforced by DOM-tubing kicker braces that attach to the frame. Other front kit components include extended swaybar links and ESC recalibration hardware.

Premium gas-charged front struts are included. They're valved to increase bodyroll resistance, compensating for the vehicle's higher center of gravity. Because they accept the OE coil springs, ride quality isn't sacrificed. Thin strut spacers give the assemblies the necessary height for the full eight inches of lift.

Superlift's standard Silverado/Sierra 8" system includes rear 5" tapered blocks, full-length add-a-leafs and Superide shocks. These components level the truck and assist payload capacity. Premium 5"-lift Superide replacement leafsprings with 2" tapered blocks are optional for Chevy/GMC owners who want the optimal ride experience. Other available optional include Superlift Extreme Ring differential cover protectors. All Superlift components are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Installation requires welding and cutting. Superlift highly recommends that professional installers do this job. Estimated shop time is 8-9 hours. Recommended tire sizes are based on 12.5" maximum tread width, 8.5"-wide wheels at least 18" tall having backspacing between 4.5"-5.5".
