John Kilgore Racing Transmissions now offers the Superlite Turbo 400, an unmatched combination of strength and lightness. Super lightweight internals minimize parasitic loss to get more power to the ground: Racers regularly see .2-.5 second faster ETs. Kilgore eliminates the OE cast-iron forward and direct clutch assemblies, saving about 16 pounds by combining these components into one sheetmetal housing. Less energy is required to "spin up" the transmission, freeing up more power for acceleration. Options include a choice of First gear ratios and a transbrake.

The Superlite TH400 is the transmission answer for Super Stock, Stock, Super Street and other Sportsman "door" drag cars.
